amazing days

we've just had the most amazing summer here in sf. i never remember it being this nice - usually it's foggy and cold, which i don't mind at all, but this summer has been sunny and 70 everyday!! this of course perpetuates the misconception that the summers here are incredible, so when this years batch of tourists go back home and tell all their friends how nice it is here, their friends will come next summer packing nothing but shorts and t-shirts. you see them toddling through the city, and during a usual summer, freezing their asses off! but not to worry, because for $40 they can get the essential sf tourist garb - the san francisco pullover which comes in yellow, red, and blue. but i digress - it's time to go enjoy the wonderful day - off to the park i go!
